I like to think I’m a confident person, except for when I’m a loser piece of shit with no real skills.

Impostor syndrome and a degree of perfectionism prevented me for a moment, and made me hesitate in, taking a real stab at crafting a blog post that had more than 5 words, or 5 ounces of effort in it.

The complex network of neurons in my brain decided to relate that to how the societal factors of being raised in a “Hell world” have impacted me, restricting the ways I feel comfortable in expressing myself.

It’s not supposed to be that deep or insightful, I just thought it’d be funny and, yanno, maybe a little bit clever, to relate the idea of a “Hell world” to myself being the product of my circumstances, growing up in an abusive, insecure, and hyper-masculine family structure that is ultimately a product of the society we live in ― patriarchy, meritocracy/capitalism, and all that. Obviously there are more severe cases of how people have been impacted, helped by the societal structures that are in place, and there are deeper analyses that can be done, but that’s besides the point of the joke.

This is just a normal website and if I want to write something, I don’t need to be a fully developed writer that accomplishes everything I want to when it comes to rhetoric, immediately. Practice makes perfect
